Help Line
The major objectives of Help Line committee are
1. To develop friendship and fellowship among members.
2. To assist Governing Council in administration.
3. To supervise and organise zonal meetings.
4. To reach the grass root of the society by working of the Region and Zone as channels of communication from the Governing Council and getting feedback and thus a two way channel.
Each Zone to conduct meetings at least 4 times a year. There will be a joint meeting of all the Zone called Help Line Day.
Presently there are 4 Helpline Zones:
1. Adayar - MR JOSEPH CHACKO
2. Anna Nagar - MRS LIZZY JOY
3. Kilpauk - MR JOSE VARGHESE
4. Kodambakkam - MR BINNY LAWRENCE
Cultural & Events
The major objectives of Cultural Committee is to achieve the following
1. To develop Fellowship and fraternity among the members and families.
2. To bring out the hidden talents of our members and their children.
3. To develop team spirit among the members.
4. To organize sports and games for the fun and fellowship of the members and their families.
5. To organize cultural programmes, involving the members and their children, during Onam, Christmas and Anniversary celebrations of the Society. This should aim at providing an occasion for fun and frolic for the members and also opportunity for members and their children for developing their artistic and literal talents.
Ladies Wing
The major objectives of Ladies Wing are
1. Fellowship and fraternity among the Ladies of KCS.
2. To bring out the hidden talents of the members of Ladies wing.
3. To develop team spirit and right attitudes among the Ladies Wing members.
4. To create an atmosphere and encourage knowledge sharing among the members in the field of Cookery, Flower arrangements, House keeping, Parentage, etc.
5. To organise lectures by external speakers on matters of common interest for the members, enabling self-development of the members.
6. To carry out charity works within the means of the Ladies wing.
Youth Wing
The major objectives of youth Wing are
1. Fellowship among the Kaycees Youths.
2. To bring out the hidden talents of our children.
3. To develop team spirit and right attitudes in Kaycees Youths so that they grow up as responsible citizens of our nation.
4. To organize picnics, sports and games for the fun and fellowship of the members’ children.
5. To organize programmes in co-ordination with the Self Development committee for the personal growth of the Kaycees Youths.
6. To involve the Kaycees Youths in Planning, coordination and implementation of the activities of the Kaycees so that they are developed as future leaders of KCS.
7. To involve Youths in Social Service so that they grow up conscious of their responsibilities to the less fortunate brethren of our Society- Coordinate with the Service Projects Committee in this regard.
Greeting Committee
The major objectives of Greetings/ Attendance Committee are
1. Greet members on their Birthdays, Wedding Anniversaries or any other special occasions.
2. Handle registration and attendance of members, children and guests at various meetings and maintain records for the same. These records should help the Governing Council to select the Family of Year Award.
3. Collect information on any outstanding achievements of our members or their immediate family members and inform the Governing Council. Also bring to the notice of other members through appropriate media (meetings / newsletters etc.).
Constitution
The major objectives of Constitution & By-Laws Committee are
1. Review our by-laws and rules & regulations time to time and as and when any changes in the Societies Act.
2. Get suggestions, recommendations from the members regarding by–laws and rules and regulations and review the same. These suggestions/ recommendations along with the committee’s recommendations to be placed before the General Body in the form of resolutions and get the approval.
3. Once this is approved in the General Body, it should be incorporated in the by-laws and rules and regulations in co-ordinations with the Secretary.
Publications
The major objectives of KCS News Letter Committee are
1. To publish KCS News on a periodic basis (bi-monthly or quarterly).
2. The contents of the KCS News should be matters of relevance to governance of this society, its projects, membership etc.
3. To bring out the hidden talents of our members and their children by including articles / poems / stories etc from our members and their children.
Public Relations
The major objectives of Public Relations Committee are
1. Establishing contact with other Centres outside Chennai and share information and arrange exchange programmes.
2. Establishing contact with other Centres outside India and share information and arrange exchange programmes.
3. Oversee assistance to visitors from other cities and other countries who had established relationship with KCS. Also assist KCS members who may need such assistance in other Cities and Countries where KCS had established relationships with other organizations / people.
4. Liaison with other Social Organization and Bodies in Chennai and share information arranges exchange programmes.
5. Collect information about other Social Organizations and Bodies functioning in Chennai with a view to find out their programmes, activities and suggest ways to make KCS a better organization.
Projects & Services
The major objectives of Project & Service Committee are
1. To identify Specific Service Projects with help of concerned KCS Cells or directly. This may include adoption of poor homes, adoption of poor children for their food, shelter and education, adoption of destitute homes etc.
2. To organize development programmes aimed at relief, rehabilitation and development of poor of all casts and creeds.
3. To organize programmes to create awareness among poor and create awareness among them and improve their socio - economic status.
4. Once the service projects / development programme has been identified, detailed presentation is made to instill confidence and get necessary approvals to launch the project / programme and allotment of funds. The presentation should include the following :
